The tiny enclave of Alpine, New Jersey is one of my favorite places to work with interior design clients. Situated on a cliff overlooking the Hudson and its proximity to New York City make it a desired place to live, along with the privacy it affords its residents.
The beautiful homes and country estates in Alpine feature a mix of timeless architecture including stately colonial and French-style manors. At BRT Interior Design we take inspiration from the homes in Alpine’s Rio Vista neighborhood. The neighborhood is also home to Devil’s Tower, a stone clock tower built in 1910 in the Gothic Revival style.
My favorite spot to eat in Alpine is Kiku and I’m especially fond of the tableside Hibachi.
One of my favorite spots to take a break is the State Line Lookout at Palisades Interstate Park. Here I can recharge and enjoy the breathtaking views. It’s the perfect spot to meditate and to reconnect with myself and nature.
